Echoes Of Light

In Echoes of Light, movement becomes code: a hand wave paints with light, a step triggers sound, and stillness births silence. Powered by LiDAR and TouchDesigner, the installation explores the intersection of human subtlety and machine perception.

I describe it as a “meditation on presence.” Technology here is not a tool but a partner-responsive, unpredictable, almost sentient. Participants are not mere viewers but co-creators, weaving ephemeral stories through motion and stillness.

At its core, the work poses a question: Can machines grasp human fineness? And further in a system where human input shapes machine output, who is the true artist: the machine, the maker, or the observer?

Echoes of Light invites reflection on authorship, agency, and the shifting boundaries of digital space,where interaction becomes language, and presence itself becomes a medium.
